As the founder of Wynn Solutions Group, Tom leverages over three decades of leadership and strategic expertise honed through a distinguished career in federal law enforcement and military special operations. With 32 years of experience, Tom retired in 2017, following impactful roles such as protecting flag officers and dignitaries during the Gulf War with the United States Marine Corps Security Force.

Transitioning to federal law enforcement in 1994, Tom's career flourished, encompassing executive protection for Fortune 500 CEOs and celebrities before assuming senior roles with the Department of Justice and Department of Homeland Security. Notably, he served as a Senior Special Agent and Special Response Team, Firearms & Tactics Instructor with Homeland Security Investigations in Los Angeles.

Tom's leadership shone during his tenure with the Department of Homeland Security, Office of Firearms and Tactical Programs, where he crafted and managed the highly successful Protective Security Operations Training Program (PSOTP) at Fort Benning, Georgia, drawing from methodologies employed by elite agencies like the United States Secret Service and Department of State; Diplomatic Security Service. His influence extends globally, having trained and certified diverse law enforcement and military units, corporate executives, and international protective teams.

Tom's extensive certifications include DHS Law Enforcement Master Instructor Certification (DHS-LEMIC), FBI Firearms Instructor, and numerous other specialized credentials in firearms, tactical operations, and protective services. A graduate of Cornell University's Executive Leadership Program and with a background in criminal justice, Tom is revered as a subject matter expert in law enforcement tactics, anti-terrorism, and executive protection. His collaborations with agencies like the United States Secret Service further enrich his expertise, making him a sought-after authority in the field.
