Daniel P.  

Adjunct Instructor    

Tactical Operations | Executive Protection 

Daniel is originally from Southern California and moved to Texas after leaving the military. During his time in the United States Army, he served as an Airborne Infantryman with the elite OPFOR training unit in Louisiana.

 

After leaving the military Daniel joined the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO).  He has more than 19 years of experience as a Deputy Sheriff and 18 years as a SWAT Operator and medic.  Daniel currently serves as a Detail Leader for Congressman Brady’s security detail and is also responsible for the coordination of visiting VIPs and dignitaries. He also provides security for a local pastor at a megachurch.

He is a certified paramedic and teaches Tactical Combat Casualty Care to officers, paramedics, and contractors around the country.  Daniel has held several positions within SWAT including breacher, sniper, and team leader. As a SWAT team member, he has conducted many training courses for officers within the department and with other local, state, and federal agencies. He has also spent several years working in Iraq on a Department of State contract as a Personal Security Specialist/Paramedic. 

Daniel’s professional certifications include Master Peace Officer, TCOLE Instructor Certification, Krav Maga Police and Military Instructor, ALERTT Instructor in CRASE, ERASE and AAIR, Worldwide Personal Protective Specialist II, BSR evasive driving and motorcade operations, TDH-Paramedic, Gracie Survival Tactics Level 1 and 2 Instructor, Enhanced Sniper One, TCCC Instructor, Hostage Rescue/Advanced SWAT, Explosive Breacher Certified, Emergency Vehicle Operation, Tactical Operational Medical Support, Rappel Master, Active Shooter, Hazardous Material First Responder, and Law Enforcement Counter-Terrorism.

 

Daniel holds a bachelor’s degree from Ashford University in Homeland Security and is currently enrolled at American Military University in the Graduate Program for Security Management.
