Matt has 20 years of federal law enforcement experience as a Special Agent with the US Secret Service (USSS) and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).  His education includes a BS in education from Penn State University and an MBA in healthcare administration from Philadelphia University.  A senior firearms and tactics instructor, Matt has trained law enforcement officers from federal, state, and local agencies including special tactics units.  With 16 years of tactical experience, Matt was a member of the USSS Counter Assault Team, the team’s tactical paramedic, and was also the Team Leader for HSI’s National Capitol Region Special Response Team.  Matt has planned tactical operations in austere environments throughout the world for presidents and vice presidents of the United States (US), their families, and senior dignitaries visiting the US.  Matt also spent 20 years as a professional, nationally-registered paramedic with the last 8 years overlapping with his law enforcement service.
